ABOUT THE OWNERS
JP and Gwynne met working in a Chicago style pizza restaurant in the San Francisco Bay Area, in 1989. They fell in love and were married in 1995.
Over the years they found they loved to make and serve pizza so much they wanted to open their own restaurant. That was when the idea of ACME was born.
They searched for the perfect place in which to open their restaurant, and also raise their three boys. After much research, In 2013 they decided on Holly Springs North Carolina. Although they didn’t know anyone in Holly Springs or in North Carolina, they piled their three small boys into their mini-van and drove across the country to make their dream come true.
Today ACME Pizza Co. has won “Best Pizza in Holly Springs” from community vote in Suburban Living Holly Springs Magazine every year since 2014. They have appeared in Triangle Business Journal, The News and Observer, Raleigh-based TV show “My Carolina” and been named Best Deep Dish in NC by the Washington Post.

Incredibly friendly, prompt service. Deep dish pizza is a competent offering. Garlic knots were crispy on the outside, fluffy and toothsome on the inside. I'd come back just for the garlic knots and beer-battered onion rings.

With a friendly staff the service was great, and the Chicago style pizza was excellent. This has now become my go to place for pizza. Portions are large so beware. One slice is normally all one can eat.
